Your challenge will be

At the center of the Marketing & Communication Department (Editorial Team, Branding, Sponsoring, etc.), you’ll be heading a crucial role to make accessible to the mass-market the specificities of the Company both to the external as well as to the internal world.

The role could be split in 3 non-exhaustive tasks

  1. Internal communication
A constant and clear communication with the employees is the key to the success of an organization. Because who informs well generates in the staff a higher engagement towards the corporate objectives. As such, your role will be to optimally inject contents and use the different communication channels available (Intranet, Yammer, displays at the head office, ... ) or suggest new once if necessary, to relay information of all kinds, towards the Teams.
  1. Public Relations
An organization of this kind must maintain and excellent relationship with its audience. Through marketing communication actions and PR activities, they are continuously building their brand image and brand fulfillment. You’ll monitor and drive PR key performance indicators on the different medias to secure that each marketing actions is generating the right level of return and reaches its objectives. You’ll do everything possible to put the company in the spotlights respecting the Corporate tone of voice. As expert in drafting press releases, press files and maintaining the community of Journalists (on-offline), you’ll be the sole point of contact to promote the corporate activities and dedicated actions of the company across all PR channels. Furthermore, you’ll be the face of the Company towards the French speaking medias (TV, Radio, Press, Blogger, etc.) and able to promote the Values of the organization in every one of them.
  1. Content and conversation management
The company is positioning as the funeral specialist and your role to contribute to this objective, and together with the Editorial team, you will be to create and animate the relevant content on all the social media channels and the Corporate Website. As Communication specialist, you’ll be animating the online dialogue with the public such as a Community Manager would do.

What we are looking for...

  • You have a master in Communication or Marketing or can demonstrate of a relevant experience in a similar BtoC sector.
  • You have a facility for copyrighting and generating strong and thoughtful texts.
  • Team player, you can also make progress autonomously and are able to take initiatives.
  • Ideally, you’ll have taken part of an editorial board or in PR.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French & English
  • You have an empathic ability to say no.
