Our client is a Belgian family-owned company and a well-established producer of beverages in Benelux. They operate at European level with 5 brands of waters & soft drinks.
Thanks to new dynamics in their activities, our client needs to reinforce their OOH Sales Team. For their offices located in Brussels, they are looking to hire a (m/f) :

Junior National Account Manager Out-Of-Home (NL/FR)

You will report to the National Account Manager Beer Wholesalers.

Your challenge

As Junior National Account Manager, you would be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy (Route to Market) for the Beerwholesalers channel Horeca in Belgium, safeguarding the contacts and the interests of the company in this channel, developing strategic partnerships with the purchasing groups and the main independent beer wholesalers in order to maximize the availability of the company brands in a profitable way.

Your responsibilities

More precisely, your responsibilities would be articulated around the 4 following poles:

1. Establish, negotiate and follow up on annual plans with the various strategic purchasing groups and individual beer wholesalers in the OOH market.

• Prepare and negotiate annual plans and agreements with each client in terms of purchasing conditions and volumes, based on thorough Sales analyses
• Ensure effective implementation of Sales Activity Calendar and promo plan for direct customers, with a regular follow-up of volumes and budget along the year. Follow-up on its roll-out with the Field team
• Develop strategic commercial plans with all strategic partners, with a 360° perspective including the e-commerce platforms of clients and their logistics department
• Organize regular Business reviews to follow up on the plans with the customers, to promote communication and business opportunities
• Act as the company ambassador and contact person for all clients, reacting immediately and solving problems efficiently when arising
• Ensure administrative follow-up and payment on due time for all clients using Sales Force

2. Provide indirect coaching to Team Hospitality

• Provide permanent support to the Sales Developers on the field, monitoring annual agreements and budgets with them and coaching them for development
• Draw up KPI's in collaboration with Field Sales Managers for the field team OOH + follow-up on a weekly basis

3. Prepare annual budgets and periodic planning/estimates

• Draw up annual budgets per customer per brand 
• Continuously monitor planned and realised campaign volumes, offer strategic insights on future actions to boost your brands performances
• Communicate on all sales activities to both internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare budgets and continuously analyze all promotion mechanisms, adjust for maximal efficiency
• Organize and prepare all content material for trade fairs in collaboration with the field team

4. Gather and act on market and account information

• Continuously analyze the market and customer data in order to act as a specialist on mineral waters and related drinks, with sound knowledge of the market, the different accounts and the competition
• Develop a helicopter view of the OOH Horeca channel + proactively approach certain trends and continuously "hunt" for new opportunities, in collaboration with OOH Field team
• Act as a facilitator and information relay, passing on the spotted opportunities/leads to the relevant team members
• Develop a strategic network  in the on-trade channel
• Share relevant information internally and externally to the departments involved via all available channels and communication tools

 

Your profile

  • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent by experience
  • You are fluent in NL and FR, with a good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • You have min. 4 years’ experience in sales in FMCG or the hospitality channel
  • You have prior knowledge of the Belgian Out Of Home market in general, the beerwholesalers channel in particular would be  a plus
  • You can work with MS office, Sales Force, IBP
  • You have a good combination of analytical and commercial skills, and a strong drive to develop them and always improve yourself
  • You can display multidisciplinary thinking on a strategic level combined with strong operational skills
  • You are a self-starter, who can take initiatives and work autonomously with their objectives in mind
  • You are a team player, result-oriented and growth-driven
  • You are stress-resistant, with a good level of assertiveness
